What does it mean to be saved?

  •  Confess that you are a sinner in need of a Savior.

  • Repent from that sin.

  • Acknowledge and believe that Jesus is the One Savior who can take away their sin (because of his deity, and His death and resurrection).

  • Believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the promised Messiah.

  • Receive the Holy Spirit to guide them in daily life.

  • Have their names written in the Lamb's book of life, where upon death they will not be destined to a life separated from God-instead, they will be saved from the eternity of hell, and receive access to heaven and eternal fellowship with God.

  • If you want this relationship with God, pray this prayer right now: Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that you took the pain of the cross to give me a new life. I ask you to come into my life and give me your peace and joy. I confess that I am a sinner-that I have gone my own way and have done wrong. Please forgive me for my sins-I receive you now as my Lord and Savior. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit. Help me to follow and serve you all the rest of my life. Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen.

If you declare with your mouth "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10.9

My first year as Kansas Trapline Products-2012. Tailgater at the NTA Convention, Minnesota
My vegetable stand that still operates today. Thanks to the strength of the Lord!
After I thought about what that trapper said, I do believe he was on to something.  I truly believe God moves us in ways that is best to serve him, and bring us closer to his presence.  In order for us to become closer to his presence we must understand what Jesus said. "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14.6.

If you would like to experience some of the good feeling that I received, and would like to know Jesus-Please email me and tell me that you would like to have Christ in you life too.  I will answer all emails.  Let me help you help yourself to the goodness of what God has in store for all of us who recognize he is our one and only God. And if you are on the fence as to where your life is going, please contact your local church, and join a bible group to help you on your way to a new and rewarding life.  Let Jesus carry your burdens, and lay your stress upon the Lord. Put your faith in and trust in God as it is written. God Bless You,  Ed Schneider
Welcome to my Trappers in Christ page!
As a trapper, I get to spend a lot of time by myself thinking about my relationship with Christ.  And to be honest, I am not that proud of how I have previously served the Lord. However, the bible tells us God will welcome us with open arms when we accept his son Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.   This truly is good news!

In July of 2012 I gave my life to Jesus. I was at a low point in my life, and realized doing things my way just wasn't getting me anywhere. Through much prayer, I found Gods compassion and he shined a light for me to follow a path to heaven. I can honestly tell you, it was life changing for me when I gave my life to him.

To start with, much of the burden of life was lifted off of me instantly. Like a heavy pack being removed from my back. Each day continued to improve my outlook towards my life, and many things started becoming easier to do, and easier to understand. As I continued to participate in my local church, I read and studied the bible and prayed for wisdom and guidance in my life.  God answered my prayers by giving me more energy and I felt him by my side as I started a small vegetable stand. Like Noah, I took the raw lumber and simply started sawing and hammering out a beautiful vegetable stand out of an image in my mind. No plans or examples to follow, simply a picture in my mind on how it was going to look. Then God gave me the energy to lay out a garden that would support this stand (kind of like putting the cart before the horse isn't it!). But having the stand built gave me motivation to lay in a tomato (30 plants) and sweet corn crop that could supply a regular roadside business.

While the garden was growing, I continued to pray, ask for forgiveness of my sins, and wisdom to serve the Lord anyway I could. Much like the building of my Veggie Stand, I felt the urge to take my baits and lures to a new level. Why not a national market? I have to laugh at it all now, why not? So I started ordering additional supplies, ingredients, rearranged my fur shed, and proceeded to make gallons and gallons of bait and lures in preparation of my new market.

The year moved along smoothly, and steadily as I sold my first vegetables, and tailgated my earliest lures at a couple of conventions. In 2013 I increased my garden (60 tomato plants), opened up a trappers supply website, and at the Fur Harvesters convention in Wisconcin I moved inside of the building where I could protect my goods from the weather. While I was at the convention, I was approached by a trapper named Mark Gigi that started discussing having Jesus Christ in our life. (funny how things fit) and he and I had a wonderful discussion on Gods impact in our life. As I discussed with him my personal salvation, and my new found businesses, he gave me a profound thought. "Perhaps God wants you to spread his message to other trappers through your business?"
